It's almost like he's a guru

I've been trying to ween Cormac off being by my side every second of every day. Today as I was getting ready to use the bathroom I told him he should give me some privacy and go sit in the corner. I pointed to a corner of my room where an empty overnight bag sat. He walked over to the corner looked in the bag and said "It's all gone, you don't have anymore privacy." Then walked past me into the bathroom to take his place next to the toilet paper roll.

Truer words have never been spoken. In fact I think they should have a sign that says that on the doors of the maternity ward so you can see it as you leave the hospital with your new baby.

I would also like to take this moment to thank my friend Holly who shared the term "sunshine hair" with me, because this boy definitely has sunshine hair.

Boy genius! Seriously, sometimes I just sit and daydream what it would be like to be alone for a whole day, and not worry or feel guilt for doing it. Privacy is gone for sure!

Out of the mouths of babes!

It's really exciting going to the bathroom when both boys are at school. Seriously.

And OOOHHH does he have it!!!!! I love his sunshine hair!!!! I can relate with the privacy thing, and Lucy goes running for her stuffed green care bear whenever she sees me putting on make-up and comes back saying, "Green care bear makeup too!!!!"

So true! The other day I went and took a shower and kept waiting for Carly to appear in the bathroom. I took an entire shower all by myself. At first I was thrilled and then I started to wonder what she was up to. Luckily nothing but it kind of ruined the thrill of privacy!
