this could be the start of something really bad!!!
I cannot even begin to count the number of times in the last week that Isaac has informed he is now a big boy because he is 5, but last nights explanation just takes the cake!!!! I was making him pick up his toys when he tells me "I don't need you to tell me what to do anymore, I'm 5 and I don't need your help. Big boys just have their own plans and ideas and their mommies don't need to tell them what to do anymore."
He also got a hold of my camera again. He takes the best self-portraits!!!

So did you laugh or were you able to keep a straight face? I ask Carly to pick up her toys and she just says, " No, I don't want to." and runs away. I guess you can tell who's in charge. :)
Wow! It sounds like he is ready to move out. Seriously, how is it possible that they learn that stuff so young? It cracks me up but still stings just a little...Good luck with that.
Wow! What an independent little guy. Sounds like he's got it all thought out - he'll just have to wait another 13 years or so to put the plan into action!
