I was watching the American Idol finale, hanging on every word Ryan was saying. He had just gotten to the good part. You know announcing the winner? As soon as he says "winner is David......."the recording stops and the option to delete or save the show comes up. I KID YOU NOT!!! 2 hours of random nothingness so that I could find out the winner and my DVR didn't record the ending. I was so annoyed I could have screamed. Luckily for me my husband always checks the winner online while I'm still watching the show, so all I had to do was ask him and he could tell me.
I am thrilled that David Cook won. I have a huge crush on him and I think he's a good singer. Besides, I was a little worried about Archuletta ending up a bit like Michael Jackson if he won, (you know 40 years from now?). He just seems a little too sheltered and awkward in his own skin to have so much pressure on him. Although I'm sure he's going to have much success and records and all that anyway.
I'm still upset that I didn't get to see my next husbands reaction as he won, or hear him profess his love for me as I'm sure he did. I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow when I can download it on Youtube. I wonder if I'll get any sleep tonight.

I have to say that i'm surprised that you have such a crush on this guy. I mean, i have to admit, he is kind of appealing in an odd shaped head and wierd hair type of way, but i would have never have guessed you for the David Cook type. He does have nice lips though!

my DVR ran out right before the announced the winner too! so annoying! yeah, david archuleta is way too awkward. but i'm moving on to bigger and BETTER things: So You Think You Can Dance started last night.
